Up until 1992 when I left "the hole", I would hop on the Metro North at 125th and ride it to GCT if I didn't want to take the subway en route to Union Square. TBH, while it was stress free, I really didn't save time having to walk up a long block W/B on 125th, then wait for a train, then at rhe terminal, walk to the Lexington subway and wait for the first S/B train. I only wound up doing it about 4-5 times. |
