Speaking of the strike, What's up with the MTA insisting that LIRR probationary employees (new hires) report to work, even if they have to cross a picket line?? I've been involved in labor relations at Metro North and going after probies never happened in any collective bargaining situation that I was aware of.IMO, doing that would be an absolute dealbreaker. |
