Well, there are going to be considerable restrictions before and after games prevent many regular NJ Transit trains to go to Penn Station, which is why apparently PATH is going to honor NJ Transit tickets during World Cup matches. Regardless of whether they could change directions at Secaucus or have everyone transfer between trains there, it's going to prevent regular trains from operating through to Penn Station, and even more so if two trains are required between Penn Station and Secaucus and they need to transfer up to 40,000 people per match between two platforms. |
