IAWTP. Soccer, like rugby, is not a real sport played by actual athletes. Rather, soccer is a game played by grown-ups without any athletic ability other than to run around and kick the ball and then writhe in pain on the ground after getting touched on the forearm before being carted off the pitch in agony on a piece of plywood held by a couple quote paramedics close quote. To wit, yesterday the Arsenal Gunners played something called Sporting. That riveting tilt nearly broke the record for combined goals scored in a single tilt as opposed to the aggregate and that includes the meaningful International and Club Friendlies. The final score was nil nil. Anyway, IAWYP. |
