There also was a period where some "JJ" trains went to Canarsie from Broadway-Brooklyn. The #14 Bway-Bklyn Local was unaffected by the service changes in November 1967 except that trains would now be designated as JJ. There was still rush hour service between Canal Street and Canarsie. Effective with the July 1, 1968 service changes the rush hour JJ was replaced by the KK which ran between 168 St and 57/6. There were still about three AM put-ins from Canarsie to Canal St. I did ride this service. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
