I went on EBAY this morning and went back a month on the metrocard sales page to see who bought what kind of cards for how much money and this is what I found:
Nobody paid hundreds or thousands of dollard for and normal card.
Some really collectable cards got hundreds but that is about it.
Some people were selling LOTS of cards (multiple) of 20 to 100
for reasonable prices for art projects and such.
