I rode them on the BMT Eastern Division in the 1960's and they seemed to ride well and had a longitudinal/transverse seating arrangement which was similar to the R10 and not repeated on any subsequent 60 foot subway car. This of course was before the graffiti artists destroyed them as well as every other car on the system. |
