The Flushing Line #7 was part of the IRT (A-Division) route numbers introduced in 1948, and still used today.The BMT had its own set of route numbers introduced in the 1920s. They ran from 1-16. 1: Brighton 2: 4th Ave 3: West End 4: Sea Beach 5: Culver-5th Ave and later also Culver-Nassau 6: Bay Ridge-5th Ave 7: Franklin 8: Astoria shuttle 9: Flushing shuttle 10: Myrtle-Chambers 11: Myrtle-Park Row 12: Lexington 13: Fulton 14: Canarsie-Broadway (Brooklyn) 15: Jamaica 16: 14th St (Canarsie) |
