It was around for 1973-74.Many VW fans didn’t like the automatic stickshift but I didn’t mind it. Although it wouldn’t be my first choice the car ran just fine with it. As cool and fun as they are the best you can hope for is 100K miles on the engine before it needs a rebuild of some sort. |
