Posted by irtredbirdr33 on Sat Dec 20 05:33:29 2025 Tuscarora Almanac for December 20 1920 – from The Book of First Runs The IRT Pelham Line is extended along Westchester Avenue from Westchester Square to Pelham Bay Park. 1940 – from The Book of Wrecks • Lehigh Valley Transit interurban car 1004 is destroyed by a fire while operating on the Philadelphia & Western Railroad (Norristown Line). LVT acquired a replacement car from the Indiana Railroad (No.55) and placed it into service using the trucks of 1004.
