So they don't swap cars, they swap trains. To get to Livonia on the 7 Av side, the train has to enter the uptown #1 track north of Times Square. Does it then change directions and reverse rail on the uptown local track to south of Times Square and then switch to the downtown express track? I assume the signals on the uptown local track are set up for that move. |
