1898 – from The Book of First Runs

The Philadelphia & Western Traction Company begins trolley service between West Chester and 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby,PA.

1900 – from The Book of First Runs

The New York Central Railroad opens the Union Station in Albany, New York. This massive structure will serve both the New York Central Railroad and the Delaware & Hudson Railway until December 29, 1968.

2003 – from The Book of First Runs

The JFK Airtrain begins service. The first run open to the public leaves from Station D / Jamaica. The consist is Bombardier Mark II's (s) 108 and 101.
