If gas powered cars paid their REAL costs, only the very well off could afford to drive them. You could start with the US Navy costs of shepherding oil tankers in the mid east, pollution next door to refineries, as many deaths in car incidents as murders, land wasted as multi-lane freeways rather than plants making oxygen, and multiple other costs we could avoid. |
