Disagree about the utility of INX. As I have said several times, more travel options are inherently better. Specifically, linking Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx so as not to have to go first either to downtown Brooklyn or Manhattan, should make trips easier. Given appropriate Penn Station Access transfers to both the subway and LIRR should make trips to JFK better.As to YIMBY v NIMBY, as long as population increases, they have to live somewhere. refusing to build housing generates persons in tents/camping on the subway. |
