Bill: Thank you for this excellent collection of photos. I believe that if you enter the subway at 14th Street and Sixth Avenue you will still see a tiled sign for the H&M. The MP-51's where Pennsylvania Railroad cars equipped with cab signals. (1200-1229). The Class K's were H&M cars without cab signals. Both type were used in the service to Newark. However the MP-51's always had to be on the ends of the train. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
