1956 – from The Book of Last Runs

Service is discontinued on the last two streetcar lines in Brooklyn. The last car on the McDonald Avenue line was PCC 1042.
It arrived at the 9th Avenue Depot at 5:20 AM. The last car on the Church Avenue line was PCC 1039. It arrived at the depot at 5:52 AM.
