The IRT had a few vagaries in its signal system that I am not entirely familiar with. I do recall that pn the Bway Line, trains that laid up from V/C went south on the middle as far ad Dyckman, yet went back north on the middle to be put in at A/C so something similar might have been the case on the Pelham line N/O Parkchester. |
