Amtrak can still use NYP for long distance trains like to Montreal, Toronto & Chicago. Toss in maybe one or two MNR Poughkeepsie trains for good measure. That west side tunnel will never be a homeless city anymore. As for 125 mph trains to upstate? Pipe dream then...pipe dream now.
