I use to go to Shea when the Yankees were there for the 74 and 75 seasons and would go with my Uncle who was a Met fan. We also went to several Jet games there over the years. I remembersome of the stands being on rollers.My father was a Motorman on the Flushing line then. We would drive to Shea, he would drop me off at the corner of the driveway to Corona Yard and park there. I’ve been to a couple of Pinstripe Bowl games at Yankee Stadium and that layout is also interesting. |
