Looks to me like the tracks must have been raised after a rebuild to turn this into a low platform; NJT could probably do the same if they wanted to convert Hoboken to high platforms

Just to clarify, I meant that NJT could reverse what was done to this high platform when it was converted to a low platform, in order to turn Hoboken's low platforms to high. Then again, unless the danger from flooding is mitigated or eliminated, NJT may not want to keep this terminal open in the future . . .
