Given that M31's original route description as "M-11" was "York Avenue-57th Street," it's somewhat ironic that it goes almost all the way along 57th from York to 11th Avenue now, no? And yes, that extension was in 1994.I seemed to read that the northernmost terminus of York and 92d was to serve a ferry which was eliminated once the Triborough (now RFK) Bridge opened for service. |
