This makes possible through service to Coney Island. Culver trains use the lower level at West 8th Street. 1948 from The Book of Last Runs This is the last day of streetcar service in Louisville, Kentucky. 1949 from The Book of First Runs On or about this date the Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company takes delivery of 14 double ended streamlined trolley cars, numbered 11-24. They are built by the Saint Louis Car Company and thereafter known as the St.Louis Cars. 1959 from The Book of Last Runs On or about this date BU Gate Car 1365 departs Coney Island for a new home at the National Museum of Transport in St. Louis, Missouri. 1959 from The Book of Last Runs This is the last day for streetcar service in Qttawa, Ontario.
