You're talking about the intersection of 6th Ave & 53rd St. Top to bottom: both F tracks (cut & cover) Manhattan-bound E track (deep bore) Queens-bound E track (deep bore) This map isn't 100% accurate about over/under (and other things: notice how it appears that the 51 St platforms (6) reach 53rd St, when they actually reach only to 52nd St -- to transfer between the 6 and E/M you have to walk the block between 52 & 53 Sts underground) but the intersection of 6th&53rd is correct.  Another error: the map shows the downtown M track between 5th Av and 47-50 Sts going under the uptown F track, when the uptown F track goes under the M track. (Leaving 47-50 the uptown F track has dipped down. After passing under the M track, it rises to 57 St. |
