All the more reason for me to stand at the RFW. I actually started doing that on Brooklyn-bound runs when the R-7/9s showed up. If you're familiar with the layout at Lorimer St., the main exits are at the Manhattan-bound end, which was where we were headed. We rode in the middle of the train, or towards the rear (but never in the same car as the conductor) on the BMT stabdards when headed to Brooklyn. Coming back, we'd ride in front since the first car stopped right at the entrance (remember that iron gate?). |
