Where Do You Think the Stalled Train Went BIE to Cause This Reroute of B and D trains?

Reroute

Southbound A B C D service is disrupted while we investigate why a train's brakes activated near 59 St-Columbus Circle.

Service Changes:

Southbound B & D trains are rerouted via A line from 59 St-Columbus Circle to Jay St-MetroTech, then via F line to Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

Southbound C trains are running express from 59 St-Columbus Circle to Canal St.

Expect delays in southbound A B C D train service.

Travel Alternatives:

For local service along 8 Av in Manhattan, use the E train.

For service along 6 Av in Manhattan, use F & M trains.

For service to/from Grand St, take a northbound train or use nearby Canal St (N Q R W station)

For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, use 4 5 N Q R trains.
