Unexplained derailments are a matter for the courts.The only thing unexplained is what the route cause of why the wheel sets on the 7k cars slipped out of gauge. No one was injured or killed in the 7k car derailment south of the Rosslyn station on 10 12 2021. Oh, and for the record, I completely despise 7k cars. The cars are noisy, rough riding, the interiors are uninvitingly sterile and the seats are uncomfortable. I came to that conclusion after first riding aboard them several years before the 10 12 2021 derailment. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
