The question is when was that station originally proposed? Because the library building started construction in the 1910s and was only partly finished before being redesigned and completed in 1941.Given the dual contracts were signed around the same time as the original building was built, one could assume a station at the library was meant to be built in place of the Grand Army Plaza and Brooklyn Museum stations we got in reality. |
