If you go frame-by-frame in Nighthawks during the subway scene at H-S as the IND old timers are pulling out, you can see a platform sign marked, Hoyt-Schermerhorn from inside the train when the station was disguised as 57th St.I'm still curious as to which car got its storm door window kicked out by Sylvester Stallone in that film. It was an R-1 or R-4 since the storm door in question had one large pane of glass. Definitely not 103 since you can see ceiling fans. 800 was part of that train. The camera was positioned so that the car number above the strom door wasn't visible. |
