The biggest benefit would be linking to Elmhurst's Chinese community to Flushing. I can see that being a large and unexpected ridership generator. As it stands I can't see much traditional Manhattan-oriented ridership from there since the ride on the M/R from Elmhurst Ave isn't that bad (or you can just walk to Roosevelt Ave). If there is a Queens LIRR stop I wish would come back it would be Rego Park. |
