I totally agree - if the terrorists who flew those hijacked planes into the WTC took out the Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges instead, this city would be in a total mess. The politicians need to see that those bridges are a juicy target for anyone with an agenda, so spending the money to protect the people is the proper thing. That should be done before their hand gets forced. The Hudson river tunnels need replacement - spend the money already ! |
