The problem is domestic flights from a smaller city to catch an international flight and vice versa on the return. It's much easier to go from airport to airport than train station to train station to airport. The article isn't clear but I don't think that any of those flights are actually banned. France also isn't the first country to ban short domestic flights either. It's just that those flights are so rare that some of the bans don't actually ban anything. |
