Yes, that (The JBL Grumman 870 sighting) makes sense. After NYCTA got rid of their Grumman 870s for good.... Interesting enough they continued to operate at the DOT privates. Same for MSBA, and they also purchased Flxible Metros. By the early 90s the Grummans at the DOT privates were gone, except a few at Jamaica Buses that they continued to operate for several more years. |
