I can’t understand what the matter is with NY. In Boston, a couple of abandoned commuter lines were converted to transit use like Riverside and Old Colony, in LA part pf the PE ROW to Long Beach was partially reconstructed for light rail, and St Louis repurposed a former RR ROW for a light rail system. NY has a couple of former RR lines suitable for rapid transit used so what’s going on? |
