Actually when the city purchases the NYW&B ROW within city limits, the plans then became to connect the newly acquired Dyre Line with the Second Ave subway. One of the early plans for a Bx leg of the SAS was a subway line along Morris Pk Ave but the purchase of the Dyre Line offered a cheaper alternative. |
