I would think that all the track across the bay was completely replaced when the TA took over because they had sand pumped in to completely cover the old trestle in the areas where it was left in place to prevent fires. Much of that track was probably worn out anyway due to lack of maintenance. The two steel swing bridges were also completely replaced with new ones. |
