Fifty R-16 cars (#6300-6349) were sent over to the IND Rockaway Line, and some of the R-10 cars that were at the BMT Eastern Division eventually sent back to the IND "A" line. There was a need for the R-1/9's to operate there at slower speed at first, because full power was not there yet, due to the result of a Westinghouse supplier strike.   -William A.
