The electric side signs are so unreliable and inconsistent that they can't really be called an advanced amenity any longer. When cars in the same linked unit display different destinations it's not the crew's fault. They were quite beautiful when new, and because of a few intelligent tweaks to the R44 designs, were much better than the R44s.
