The R211 have larger doors than the older NTT. I guess the TA wanted R211 on the E & F lines cause those lines have high ridership and would help with passenger flow in and out of the cars.


I wouldn't be surprised if due to lower ridership cause of the pandemic Jamaica yard just simply keep the NTT they already have and the R211 go elsewhere.
