| Posted by BusMgr on Fri Jun 24 11:44:20 2022, in response to Re: Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad, posted by ntrainride on Thu Jun 23 19:25:12 2022.I have used the South Bend airport only for connecting from an intercity bus (then operated by Lakefront Lines; today Barons Bus, Miller Transportation, and Greyhound Lines all operate to and from South Bend) to a South Shore train, never a local transit bus. The South Shore trains are intercity transportation, not local transit, so the presence of a local transit service, while not unhelpful, is not particularly meaningful. |
