What I am trying to get across is that there is NO densely active 'hood near the NS ROW/former NYC and GTW downtown station. So, where do you put a station for maximum passenger convenience? The center of gravity of SB is dispersed and not concentrated near existing rails.Noticing these facts is not elitist per se. At least using the airport gave CSS&SB an "intermodal" location. As intercity bus service becomes a faded memory, even that choice is less useful than when it was decided on. |
