There is a bus transfer station a block or two east of Union Station known as Transpo. The general consensus is, if Amtrak were to relocate to downtown South Bend, their trains would most likely stop at Transpo and not Union Station. A pity Amtrak didn't just take over Union Station back in 1971. |
