The express tracks between 7th Ave and Church Ave were constructed for a never-built Ft Hamilton Parkway line to 86th St. It appears that the local tracks were supposed to continue south of Church Ave to the present Culver line connection. I sometimes wonder if the present "GG" route had been intended to run to Coney Island. |
