There could have been additional factors of which we are still unaware.As an example, the commencement was at 9am Saturday. The last Acela or NE regional from DC to NYP is at 6:55pm. It's very likely that his flight was later than that or at least late enough that there weren't many, if any, rail options. I'm guessing that if there weren't other flight options, that it was possibly, maybe likely, that he was traveling later in the evening. |
