His return point is irrelevant as that's a separate trip with travel logistics that could be the same or different.His return logistics can't be different if he drove/ This is pointless speculation without more facts. - We don't know where he started from. - We don't know where he was when he learned his flight was canceled, and whether he had his car with him there or not. - We don't know where he was going in the NYC area. - We don't know where he was returning to at the end of the trip. I can assure you from my many trips to DC and Boston that these all make a difference in one's decisions. |
