Going thru the main concourse when coming in from the east side would be the only way to get to the LIRR.

Walk crosstown on 45th - that works. Except of course it won't work late night because there won't be any LIRR trains. They'll have to get to Penn, which is fine. Better than the SOL people in MNRR territory.
