I am locked in a particular time era of railroads and transit. It ranges from the 1900-1945 or there about. The original and pre-MTH had given us the Korean and Chinese samples of the MP54 commuter cars and subways and heavy weight passengers. I wish they had produced the 67 ft. Staten Island Rapid Transit cars and the 67 ft. Philadelphia Broad Street and Delaware Bridge cars. History tells us that the Staten Island cars may have had two (2) paint schemes, Staten Island and the later BMT versions. The Philadelphia cars had a Varity of paint schemes and structural styles. Do I need to provide you with photos? Now isn't this better reading and thought provoking material than the usual political crap that litters this segment? |
