IIRC most of the free transfers that opened between 1940 and 1966 only required removing fare gates. The only other one that I can think of besides 14/6 that required construction was the headhouse and escalators at 74/Broadway.

I wonder if carving out the passageways at 14/6 required any underpinning in the express tracks? I haven't been to the station recently so I don't remember how long the passageways are.
