And in Chicago they built all the expressways with medians for transit, some of which were built years later. We would have had a true Van Wyck line (with stops, unlike the AirTrain) and an LIE line to Queens College or possibly even Springfield Blvd or Little Neck Parkway if Robert Moses wasn’t such an asshole.
