When I was in Southern California, I always like the holidays that weren't completely holidays, like MLK, President's Day (not Veterans Day, as my employer, USC, didn't observe it). Since I didn't have a car, I could go places using the weekday schedule, which in many cases was better than the Saturday schedule (we won't discuss Sunday). |
