I was gonna go to the 1230 run at BB with my eldest kid, but it was raining, we were both tired, and I was in no mood to schlep there only to have to put up with "the element", who make up the majority of these railfans. I comfort on the fact that, as a staple on my Sea Beach Line, along with the 4th Avenue and West End as well, that I had decades of enjoyment out of them. Of course I liked them pre-GOH better. The fans, storm doors open between cars, lights out on 3rd rail gaps, etc.. |
